The Davis Memorial Scholarship is dedicated to honoring the legacy of Virgil and Lucille Davis by providing financial support and educational opportunities to deserving students who embody the values of leadership, community service, and academic excellence. Our vision is to create a world where financial barriers do not hinder the educational aspirations of talented and motivated students. Through the Walter Virgil Mary Lucille Davis Memorial Scholarship Fund, we aim to foster a culture of learning, growth, and civic responsibility. We envision a future where every recipient of our scholarship achieves academic success and becomes a catalyst for change, carrying forward the legacy of Walter Virgil and Mary LucilleDavis by contributing to a more equitable and compassionate society.

When to submit the application?

Opening the application for each year on January 15th, and a firm submission date of March 30th.

How Much is the award?

The award is currently arranging from $250 to $500 USD per awardee. Once awarded you can no longer be awarded again.

Where does the money come from?

100% of Mary E. McClain's book sale profits are donated to the fund, in addition to fundraising and sponsor donations.

What are the qualifications?

Anyone graduating from high school and enrolled in higher education such as community college, university, or trade programs.
